Hello families! This is my 15th year teaching Life Skills Support in the Allentown School District. In my classroom, we learn all the strategies to have a successful school career through play, creative activities and opportunities for students to shine. My goal is for my students to always feel loved, supported and valued in our classroom and school community. When I am not dancing and learning with my students, I am a mother of 5 and foster puppies through a local rescue. My husband and I love to travel and take our 1 year old pit mix, Winnie, on new adventures. I also enjoy content creation, watching my boys play sports and going to the beach with my whole family. --Mrs. Galusha
Hi, Families! This is my 10th year teaching Special Education, my 5th year at Dodd. In 243, we work hard to create a positive, inviting classroom climate where all students feel welcome and safe to take risks educationally and socially. We are a family of learners where everyone is a friend. In my personal life, I am married to a Middle School teacher, we have a 16 month old son, Brooks, and a 2 year old yellow lab, Finley. I love cooking, gardening, anything outdoors, and organizing. --Mrs. Cameron
I have spent 16 wonderful (and never boring) years as a special educator for elementary kids of all ages.
I love music and singing and usually prefer to be outside taking in the beauty of nature. This year, I want to see all my students grow in their love for reading and spend more time with their noses in books! Mrs. Colon
My name is Mrs. Bear. This is my 3rd year teaching in Allentown and my 10th year of teaching. During my free time, I like to read, cook ,hike, and spend quality time with my family. This year, I hope to continue to grow as a professional and create a welcoming atmosphere for all who enter my classroom.
My name is Angelina; a little about me is I love reading and anything to do with outer space! I graduated from Millersville University in 2020 and began my teaching career at South Mountain Middle School as a Learning Support Teacher. Now, I am the Emotional Support Teacher at Dodd Elementary and am ecstatic to continue my career in the Allentown School District. My goal this year is to help my students grow socially and academically as much as possible while having fun together.
