Support Team 2021

Starting from the left, Mrs. Cindy Ilgenfritz is entering her 31th year as a school psychologist in the Allentown School District. When she isn’t helping students, staff and families in school, you can find her on an adventure with her husband and children or cheering on Penn State at Beaver Stadium.

Mrs. Stano (Previously Miss Gilbert) is our behavior specialist at Dodd and this is her 6th year in ASD! When Mrs. Stano is not working collaboratively with staff and students, she can be found hanging out with her husband (just married this summer!)  and her puppy, Sanders!

Ms. Barth is jumping into ASD this year by splitting her time between Dodd and Hays Elementary schools! Ms. Barth will be at Dodd on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and she is very excited to enter her 2nd year with ASD! When not at school, Ms. Barth enjoys outdoor adventures and spending time with her family, friends and animals!

Mrs. Wight rounds out our student services team as she enters her 11th year in education and 7th year here at Dodd! She is excited to be back in person this school year and can’t wait to support our community anyway she can. When she isn’t running around Dodd in her pink polos, Mrs. Wight can be found on an adventure or relaxing at home in Allentown with her wife,  2 year old daughter and black lab!

If you, your child or you family needs assistance or support, please reach out to our student support team to help you!

Dodd's school counseling program is a comprehensive service provided to students and their families.

Services for students include small group counseling and classroom lessons focused on topics such as safety, bullying prevention, career awareness, and conflict resolution.

If you feel that your child would benefit from outside counseling or support resources, your child’s counselor can refer you to an outside agency for support and/or refer to the school’s SAP team (Student Assistance Program).
